Home Sweet Home

Im at home now, after my year in Taiwan.. and its absolutely fantastic. Have taken 2 months off, just to hang out with diffrent friends in different places, family and getting my stuff together for South America.. a trip Ive been dreaming about long before I even went to Taiwan.

I leave on the 26th June and hoping to return by end of November. Making my way from Equadore-Peru-Bolivia-Chile-Argentina - Brazil and maybe Venuzuela (if time and cash allows it)

I leave for Mozambique tomorow, Ive been visiting family on our farm in Nelspruit, South Africa.. its amazing how much everything grows and changes in a year. My family has a macadamia and naartjie farm on a stunning river, known as the Crocodile river. We still very fortunate to have hippos roaming the waters! The scenery from bushy South Africa, changes to an apple blue ocean in Mozambique where Im going to be doing some diving with a friend in Tofu. Will be taking loads of photos and will post them up soon!

Much love and light to all of you out there!

ending and starting... the circle of life

I cant wait, im still in taiwan, teaching english, and will soon go home to South Africa after a year of noisy, naughty hair pulling kids... no just kidding (a little). The kids in Taiwan, well at least at the schools I taught at, were absolutely amazing. This year has been a year of experience, testing patience and defnitaly a year of self discovery. Ive had any ups and down, and for e, looking back its the ups that you carry with you.

I going home in a months time and then speding the time with close friends and family in South Africa and Mozabique, and then heading for a well deserved trip to South America. Im flying into Quito, visit the markets and beauty surrounding, and then going to the Galapago islands for a scuba trip. If any of you have done a scuba trip there, please let me know, through which company you went. we hoping for a last minute booking as I cant plan to the date where and when I will be there. After Equador its to Peru, where I will do the Inca trail. I think the part of getting there would be most fun. Before Inca, will aso go to Iquitos and do a boat trip through the Amazone. So far Ive just mentioning tours tours, and money money money.. he he! But the rest of the traveling will be independant, and the journey will be the discovering and the fun part. After Peru - Bolivia - Chile - Argentina and then end up with soe salsa dancing in Brazil. The detail is to much to add!!!! In late October/November 2006 Ill head home to South Africa and then fly back to Taiwan in January. I feel there is still so much more to do here, and that this year was only a learning curve. Next year ill beable to do much more. Im still looking for teaching jobs, cos the worst that can happen, is I get here, cant get a school to sponsor my working visa, my 2 month visitor visa expires, and I have to do a Visa run... to Thailand... YEAH!!!!!! Great plan, but no cash to support it, so will have to find schools before I leave!

Will write again when Im closer to the time of leaving, and I should start polishing my spanish, because Im arriving soon with flare and passion!!!  Adios my friends
